Diana's Crescent Blade, Skyrim weapon mod by me.

I've been playing The elder Scroll 5: Skyrim lately, and love the fact that there are so many usermade contents in the game, Thanks to Bethesda for such a brilliant game as well as the creation kit.

Well, as I'm a League of Legends fan, and recently there is this champion called Diana released in LOL. She is the Moon lady with this beautiful Crescent Sword. That sword inspired me to make a same kindda sword mod for Skyrim for player to use. Its a single hand weapon and deals both physical as magic dmg as it does in LOL.

Made the sword entirely from the ground up. Currently I haven't released the mod as it need to be fixed and it need to have aura fx and magic stats which will require some times.

But here it how it looks like.

League of Legends- Akali project

I've been playing League of Legends from oct 2011, and I must say I've never been hooked up with this RTS kindda game before. The game is really addicting and when you play with your buddies, the addiction goes skyhigh.

Was thinking about making a champion fanart as a tribute to the game and RIOT.

I play with alot of champs, Ahri, Katarina, Akali, Yi, Tryndamere, Morgana, Volibear, Ezreal....and alot of other champs....but I dunno why I like Akali more, is it maybe she is flippin' NiNJA? She looks cool, she kicks opponent's a** pretty cool. Everything about her is cool.

So started with here weapon, KAMA.

Made a 2d concept of a bloodmoon style KAMA then modeled it entirely in zbrush.

Concept by me:

Modeled by me...in zbrush..

tell me what do you think! Now I'm off to make her...

Lyxa Zbrush

I've worked a long time on my ME fanart Lyxa, mainly because I was lazy. Anyway Feel like posting it here in the blog. I've made the model in maya then I imported in Zbrush and did highpoly detailed version there....

Im no texture artist, so can't texture, even if I want to. Damn man, gotta learn texturing.

Full res version is on my deviantart profile.

Being a game artist...

Well, honestly, its kindda cool, yanno, specially if you happen to be a gamer who is like... crazy about games. Afterall, this era is like this, everybody loves to play games to some extent.
You'll love the fact that you are working in the gaming industry which is quite alienating to you( if you are a fresher like me, that is). You will get to know how thing works, etc etc etc.

I'm currently in Hyderabad, India. Working in DQ entertainment. In the game department off course.
Well, DQ is actually an Animation company and they have their gaming department also. They do outsourced works from Telltale games and Ubisoft right now. They used to tied up with EA before, and they worked in lots of titles from EA.

Titles as such: Fifa 06-08, Burnout, Burnout: revenge, Black, NHL, NFS: Pro Street, NBA, Sims 2, NASCAR....and many other games that I forgot the name.

After I joined, I was immediately placed into the project by 'telltale games' & 'Ubisoft', CSI6. I never played any of the CSI games before, and I truly do not like those type of games. But its a game nonetheless, let it be a mediocre game or a fair game.

Our team is also working on Sam & Max episodes. Personally I would love to work into that project rather than CSI, cause SAM & MAX looks way cooler than CSI with its realistic models and texturings.

If you think we work always like what you may hear from different people, you would be wrong. We play games everyday, sometimes we even skip our breaks for that. :D
Oh, and we dont mind our Team leader or project manager or supervisor, cause they join us the moment we start to kick each other's ass in COD4 or UT3! :D

What bothers me that all those people from production teams from our company have long faces and all serious look, and little to no sense of humor in the studio. Where, on the other hand, we gaming people always joke around, do crazy stuffs and play games, all in office.

So whats it like? Being from a fanatic gamer to a game designer? The answer is: "awesome!!" But it'll feel even more awesome if you are working in big titles. Working in small titles ain't so bad, I mean you have to get the experience, right? And you are getting that by doing so. Big project, small project doesn't matter. You never know what the future is holding up for you? Afterall, job satisfaction is a rare element that everybody wants. If you are getting it, then bingo! Work hard and dont worry about future. Future will unfold itself. (actually my dad tells me this) :)

For me, I never thought I would be into gaming department. I mean, I always dreamed to work in games, but never kept my hopes high. Cause I was afraid to lose, what if I didnt succeed? I know, I was being a loser that time. But I learned that, one should always have the goal fixed, and you offcourse have to dream, it'll somehow give you power to push forward.
I wasn't a better person. Still not. But I know I'm a better person than the 'yesterday me'. And my family, my girlfriend, my friends helps me, they motivates me.

Love you people.
